ICF Flag Officially Handed Over to Poznań

On the final day of the Canoe Sprint World Championships – Milan 2025, the official handover ceremony of the International Canoe Federation (ICF) flag took place, marking the transition to the next host city of the World Championships.

The 2026 Canoe Sprint World Championships will be held in Poznań, at the Malta Regatta Course, which will host the world’s leading canoe sprint athletes.

The ICF flag was received from the current hosts by Grzegorz Kotowicz, President of the Polish Canoe Federation, and Patrycja Wyciszkiewicz, Deputy Director of the Sports Department of the City of Poznań.

The event officially confirmed Poznań as the host city of the next Canoe Sprint World Championships.
